We're excited to launch LFA Buddy, a new initiative designed to connect prospective students with current London Film Academy students for a relaxed, informal conversation about life at LFA.
Choosing where to study is a big decision, and while websites, prospectuses and open days can provide plenty of information, sometimes the most valuable insights come from speaking directly with someone who has already been through the process. The LFA Buddy programme gives prospective students the opportunity to hear first-hand about studying at London Film Academy, providing an authentic insight into the student experience, allowing them to ask questions, and gain a genuine understanding of what it's like to be part of the LFA community.
Whether they're curious about the course structure, student life in London, collaborative projects, or what a typical week looks like, prospective students can chat openly with a current student or alumni, who has experienced it all themselves.
How it works
The sessions will take place online via Zoom and will be co-hosted by a member of the LFA Admissions team. We'll make the introductions and help get the conversation started before giving participants the space to talk through any questions they may have.
There’s no script, no presentation, and no pressure. Instead, these sessions are designed to be friendly and conversational, creating a space where prospective students can ask honest questions and receive authentic answers.
