LFA graduate directs new BBC ONE series 'Reported Missing'

18 August 2020

Our Filmmaking Diploma alumnus, Leonardo Machado, continues to make his mark in the film and television industry, and we couldn't be prouder!

Leonardo has just finished directing series 3 of BBC ONE's 'Reported Missing' which airs TONIGHT, 19 August 2020, at 9pm (BST).

Every two minutes, someone in Britain is reported as missing. Many of the subsequent searches can involve dozens of police officers, volunteers, dogs and helicopters. This series follows live missing person investigations as they unfold, capturing the frantic efforts and quick thinking that hopefully result in the missing person being located before any harm can come to them. The perspectives of the police officers conducting the search, as well as those of the families and friends of the missing person, are shown using multiple cameras in real-life events, where every second of the search counts.

'Have some tissues on the side as the first ep is very moving' Leonardo Machdo, Filmmaking Diploma Graduate and 'Reported Missing' series director.

'Reported Missing' is a thrilling documentary series, ideal for viewers looking for a gripping TV show full of real-life tension. We can't wait to watch all four brand-new episodes of 'Reported Missing' on BBC ONE and see what Leonardo works on next!
