We are excited to welcome back film producer and script editor/ consultant Ivana MacKinnon.
Ivana produced several critically acclaimed movies such as 'Slumdog Millionaire', 'The Scouting Book for Boys' and 'The Descent 2'. She has worked with some of the most talented writers in the business and has a wealth of knowledge of the film development process. Along with Kristin Brodie, Ivana produced 'Beast', a film described as 'a serial killer mystery offering a masterclass in slow-burn chills'. 'Beast' was Nominated for ten BIFAs, winning 'most promising newcomer' for Jessie Buckley. It was also nominated for two BAFTAS in 2018, winning outstanding British debut.
Alongside her Stray Bear work, she works as a freelance script editor/consultant and mentor. Her specialties are film production, script and story development.
During the session, Ivana will discuss her experiences in the film industry, share tips on working with writers and provide valuable insights into the film's development process.
