LFA Hosts Renowned Actor, Writer and Director Alice Lowe for Exclusive Q&A

LFA geared up for another unforgettable event, as we hosted the multi-talented actor, writer and director Alice Lowe. Alice gave an exclusive Q&A session that offered students, past and present, the opportunity to gain valuable insight into the world of filmmaking from an industry expert. 

Alice Lowe is an actor, writer, and director, best known for her roles as Dr Haynes in 'Black Mirror: Bandersnatch' (2018), and Madeleine Wool/Liz Asher in the parody horror series 'Garth Marenghi's Darkplace' (2004). She wrote, directed and starred in the comedy slasher film, 'Prevenge' (2016), and starred in, and co-wrote, 'Sightseers' (2012), directed by Ben Wheatley. You may also recognise her from the children's educational TV series 'Horrible Histories'.

Alice shared her experiences, challenges, and successes, providing a unique perspective on the creative process. Guest gained valuable insights into storytelling techniques, the dynamics of being both in front of and behind the camera, and the industry trends that continue to shape the world of cinema. 

I don’t specialise in just directing or writing, I’m always doing a bit of everything which I love, and this course is the perfect course for that.
