6 February 2017

Last week, staff and students were delighted to welcome back to film school, Jean Philippe Gossart, Cinematographer and 2nd Unit Director of Photography on 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them'. Jean Philippe returned to his Alma Mater to tell current students about his career since graduating from LFA's Filmmaking Diploma.

Jean Philippe graduated from LFA in 2004 and has since racked up a string of impressive credits. His recent TV credits alone include 'Beowulf: Return to the Shieldlands' and 'Doctor Foster'. He has also been cinematographer on 'Inspector George Gently', 'Shameless', 'Law and Order' and 'Vera'.

"The London Film Academy gave me the opportunity to meet important players in the industry. They have always been there to help me find my way and develop my knowledge, even after the course had come to an end".

Many thanks to Jean Philippe for giving up his time so generously and for a truly inspiring evening.
