LFA assists their students by providing them with a wide selection of rooms in David Game College 's student Residences, or other alternatives in the neighbourhood.
The most important non-academic problem a student faces is finding a place with the best atmosphere in which to live and study, at the right cost. Rates for renting accommodation in London are extremely high.
Our accommodation policy is very flexible. Many students like to book a room in a College Residence for at least the first few weeks of their time in London, so that they can settle down, start their courses and then look around if they wish. Only one week's notice is required if a student wishes to move out of LFA accommodation. Alternatively, a student may prefer to move to a different room within LFA accommodation. If the room is available, this can be arranged at any time.
Rooms are provided with: TV, washbasins with hot and cold water, central heating, fridge, desk, kettle, table lamp(s), crockery and cooking utensils. Bed linen is provided but students must bring their own towels. Most kitchens and bathrooms are shared. There are self-contained flats also available.
At present Student Residences in London are at: Earl's Court (SW5), Fulham Road (SW10), Fairholme Road (W14), Shepherd's Bush (W12) and Dawes Road (SW6 ).
A short walk is required (approx. 10-15 minutes) to reach the LFA from many of the Residences.
